En v\u00e9ritable ensemblier plut\u00f4t qu&#8217;en simple d\u00e9corateur, il ne concevait jamais un objet isol\u00e9ment, mais comme un instrument destin\u00e9 \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner une atmosph\u00e8re, diriger la lumi\u00e8re et orchestrer la fa\u00e7on dont un espace est r\u00e9ellement habit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La Table D&#8217;appoint Gigone tire son nom des poup\u00e9es russes qu&#8217;elle \u00e9voque de loin : quatre \u00e9l\u00e9ments en acajou pivotent autour d&#8217;un m\u00eame axe, \u00e9quip\u00e9s de ferrures en laiton chrom\u00e9 ou en canon de fusil sur demande, permettant \u00e0 la table de s&#8217;ouvrir en large \u00e9ventail ou de se refermer en un bloc compact.
