Son nom \u00e9voque le plateau en marqueterie de ch\u00eane au motif graphique, qui rappelle les sols g\u00e9om\u00e9triques des appartements parisiens des ann\u00e9es 1930 qu&#8217;Andr\u00e9e Putman a voulu faire revivre en fondant la maison en 1978.<\/p>\n<p>R\u00e9alis\u00e9e en marqueterie de ch\u00eane verni, la table repose sur un pi\u00e9tement en r\u00e9sine teint\u00e9e : le veinage naturel du bois dialogue avec la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie pr\u00e9cise du damier, tandis que la base en r\u00e9sine ancre la pi\u00e8ce d&#8217;une pr\u00e9sence sculpturale discr\u00e8te.
