Fondation CAB Saint-Paul-de-Vence
“I travelled a few days ago to the South of France for the opening of the new CAB Foundation in St-Paul-de-Vence. At its core, the foundation is a reflection of my friend Hubert Bonnet’s passion for minimal art and his personal art collection, spanning from the Constructivist period to the present day, showcasing works by artists who share a distinct practice and aesthetic.
After his Foundation in Brussels, Hubert Bonnet has opened his new outpost in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, set in a stunning 1950s building entirely renovated by Charles Zana. The brilliant French architect embraced the place with great talent by adding new rooms and creating a splendid bar. CAB is set to further the Brussels Foundation’s mission through a double program focusing on its permanent collection and showing themed, seasonal exhibitions. The space will also offer artists’ residency programs.”
