Design aficionados know well Vincent Darré, the flamboyant French designer who creates outlandish, colorful interiors inspired by Surrealism. His signature style has definitely caught the attention of many, including OKA – the leading English – designed furniture brand. “Vincent Darré is a truly creative soul,” says OKA co-founder and creative director Sue Jones. “Everything he touches has a sense of drama and beauty, and he is a master at mixing styles,” she adds, talking about the shared approach that led them to this collaboration.

What we love the most about Vincent Darré is his ability to make his many flights of fancy into a reality of stone, metal and wood, fashioned in the most unexpected shapes. This collaboration is yet another example of his unbridled imagination. Drawing from his memories and reveries of neoclassical temples and ruins of nocturnal 18th century gardens, Darré created a series of pieces that are “archaeological finds designed in a more contemporary, dreamlike way.”
