The Art of Bespoke

The Laisse Béton collection is now available in different finishes and bespoke sizes

Laisse Béton, the inaugural Atelier d’Amis collection, designed by French New Yorkers Sebastien Leon and Valerie Pasquiou is now available in several different finishes.

Inspired by the never-ending turmoil of New York City’s streets, constantly torn apart by constructions sites, the design duo chose to reinterpret rebars into legs, grids into tables, pinion elevators into armoires and cleverly infused the vocabulary of construction throughout their collection.

“There is a certain beauty and unity in the architectural skeleton of construction,” observes Sebastien Leon “which offers a stacked X-ray of structural elements, floor after floor.” For Valerie Pasquiou, “concrete is the raw material of New York by excellence, which I felt should be glorified by bringing it to the world of fine furniture”.

Previously only available in polished or matte satin brass plated tubular steel and light or dark grey concrete-finish ceramic plates, the pieces of the collection are now available with Brushed Nickel, Chromed Nickel, Brushed Steel and Chrome. We also welcome an extremely new elegant Charcoal ultra-thin and resistant concrete-finish ceramic plate.

The art of marrying the worlds of industrial, contemporary and high-end bespoke furniture.

Atelier d'Amis

Rooted in the spirit of collaboration, Atelier d’Amis strives to create pieces and spaces that go beyond luxury furniture and interiors to become pieces of conversation. Their vision flourished among three friends: furniture entrepreneur Philippe Boccara, artist and designer Sébastien Léon, and interior architect Valérie Pasquiou. A sculptural approach to furniture-making, inspired by the encounter of French and American aesthetics. Exceptional Italian craftsmanship, innovative materials, and progressive manufacturing processes make Atelier d’Amis a unique player in the world of fine contemporary furniture.
