The Invisible Collection partners with Phillips New York for a week of Art & Design.
Did you miss our pop-up in the Hamptons? Come and visit us in the heart of Manhattan! The Invisible Collection partnered with Phillips New York and outfitted the company’s new global headquarters with a selection of iconic designs, available for purchase.
Over a seven-day period of important 20th Century & Contemporary sales, collectors will experience our most covetable furniture, elegantly displayed throughout Phillips’ galleries.
Phillips recently opened its new headquarters in the existing white-glass structure known as the “Park Avenue Cube” at 432 Park Avenue. Studio MDA created a new and unique setting to allow a direct visual connection from the street to the auction experience, facilitating public engagement. This spectacular space – a.k.a. The Cube – is the perfect setting for a show of Art & Design.
Set in dialogue with our iconic designs, the artworks of artists like Milton Avery, Richard Prince, Alex Katz, Mr Star City, Jonathan Lyndon Chase, Suzan Frecon, Kaws, Jessie Makinson, Emily Mae Smith, Salman Toor to name but a few, create the perfect atmosphere for a truly enjoyable experience.
“Working with Phillips felt very special: we are thrilled to create our first experiential outpost in New York and to connect with the city’s many great collectors and design aficionados”
To mark the occasion and celebrate The Invisible Collection’s new collaboration with Dedar, a selection of designs on show have been specially upholstered with beautiful, custom Dedar fabric. These one-off pieces are available for purchase.
