The Ombra Table Lamp by Flores Design is a poetic tribute to the shapes found on the cliffs and gorges of the Melides region. The sculptural ceramic base is topped by a lampshade made of handwoven linen from locally grown flax. The entire process – from planting the seeds to spinning and weaving the linen fibres– is led by a couple of skilled artisans living in Northern Portugal. The lampshade is also available in handwoven natural junco straw.
