      ABOUT THE DESIGNER
      The Designer

Half-French, half-Venezuelan, Alexander Mignot grew up on Margarita Island, in the Caribbeans. A surfer at heart, he decided to live on a sailboat with his faithful dog Kaya. For seven years, they traveled the world, seeking waves and taking up construction work. When his boat sank, Mignot moved to Lisbon, where he explored art. Impressed by his talent, a collector motivated him to paint professionally. Mignot's vibrant and spontaneous work debuted in Miami in 2017, marking the birth of an artist. He exhibited in various cities, gaining recognition among blue chip art collectors. Now, art is his purpose, with Lisbon as his base for painting and chasing waves: “I paint what I know.”
