However, the inspiration for this coffee table came from a beloved piece of the designers’ wardrobe. Drawn to the playful, colorful patterns of a favorite skirt, they incorporated elements of this design to create a coffee table that is as visually delectable as it is fashion-forward. After the successful launch of La Fibule and Refuge, two labels dedicated to lifestyle and chalet design, Yannick and Fanny Gicquel moved to London in 2015 and founded Popus Editions.
