At the origin of Studio KO, the architects Karl Fournier Olivier Marty, who have multiplied their projects for more than ten years in Europe, Morocco and the USA. The creative tandem impose a spirit where eclectic styles are combined with a singular process in which space, light and materials constitute the essential grammar. Their most recent architectural achievement is the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech.
With Up Light, Studio KO has designed a lamp that will highlight a wall material or a fabric, at a low angle and with gradation. Its upper end is truncated so as not to be dazzled by the light source. Its power cable can be hidden inside the structure to leave only the necessary length between the lamp and the socket.
