Born in 1960, Thierry Dreyfus was only 19 when he debuted as light designer at the Strasbourg Opera House; and it took him little more than a couple of years to launch his eponymous studio in Paris, which soon became the go-to place for lighting design and artistic direction in the fashion world. Diane Von Furstenberg, Comme des Garçons, Yves Saint-Laurent, Dior, Marni, Calvin Klein, Chloé and Victoria Beckham, to name but a few called on Dreyfus to brighten – literally- their fashion shows.
