The Peanut 2 coffee table is part of Univers Uchronia, the debut furniture collection of French design studio Uchronia. This playful piece was created in collaboration with David Roma, a craftsman and decorative painter known for giving shape to the designers’ most creative ideas. Defined by contrasting textures and vibrant colours, the Peanut 2 coffee table is a lively addition to any décor.
Founded by Julien Sebban, Uchronia is a multidisciplinary architecture and design collective based in Paris. Its name draws from a neologism coined by Charles de Renouvier, a 19th century French philosopher who brought forward the concept of alternative worlds, a sort of unbridled “what if” … Known for its singular ethos, Uchronia has delivered countless projects defined by striking atmospheres and unparalleled craftsmanship. Each space – encompassing private homes, restaurants, shops and exhibition venues – is designed with the “what if” factor in mind and all the exciting adventures that could take place in it.
