Decorative Objects

“If you want a golden rule that will fit everything, this is it: Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” This great piece of advice by William Morris – a central figure of the Arts & Crafts Movement – was written in the late 1800s, and is still relevant today. Choosing beautiful objects for purely decorative purposes is what makes a difference when decorating your home.

The Invisible Collection presents a carefully edited selection of covetable decorative items created by contemporary star designers - including AD 100 listers – that will definitely make a difference and beautify the décor. Impeccably handmade by the best European artisans, our decorative objects are exceptionally well crafted and reflect our curatorial eye for contemporary, one-of-a-kind designs.

When it comes to decorative objects, visual appeal is essential, as each object is an aesthetic statement. We turned to the Parisian brand Goossens for some gorgeous designs skillfully made by experienced master goldsmiths. Known for manufacturing most of Coco Chanel’s costume & couture jewelry in the fifties, in addition to bespoke designs for her home in the likes of the Lion Objet - a striking piece in crystal and gold - today Goossens collaborates with a new generation of designers in the likes of Harumi Klossowska de Rola, daughter of the renowned painter Balthus. Her collection of decorative objects inspired by nature includes the darling Pomegranate Box and the stunning Mistletoe series comprising different-sized branches and the Mistletoe Candelabrum, an amazing centerpiece in 24 carats gold plated brass and crystal rock pearls.

Vases, vessels and trinkets are arguably the most appealing decorative objects for the home. They add glamour and color to the overall setting and they are easy to move around. Our selection includes Jean Roger’s signature designs. Founded in 1947, the French brand is worldwide celebrated for its exquisite, original ceramics that inspired many, including Hans Knoll. The founder Jean Roger elevated the art of ceramic and faience by setting new trends in terms of shapes and colors. His workshop, located in the Parisian Marais area, became the go-to place for unique decorative objects, visited by the likes of Christian Dior and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

In addition to being functional, candleholders and cushions are beautiful decorative objects with a strong visual appeal. We have a great selection of designs including an eco-friendly collection of cushions by Kubo Curated.
