The Ondas Sideboard designed by Arthur de Mattos Casas, re-edited by @etel.design is beautifully handmade in Brazil in stained American walnut and presented here in a project by @leroystreetstudio. The complex and delicate curves that create the face of the sideboard’s drawers are the most striking features of this piece, and make one think of waves in the sea. TAKE A SEAT: "For the Windsor Armchair, we once again searched to create a modern and comfortable interpretation of the classic, English Renaissance "Wing Back" chair. For this particular design, we wanted to accentuate its clean lines and mass, while keeping the armchair inviting and functional.⁠

We first made this piece for the "formal" living room of one of our projects. This room is where family and friends come together on special occasions, and we were asked to create seats that would allow several people to sit together in the same chair and talk. This spawned the design of our Windsor Armchair, from which we have made different custom-made interpretations," says French designer, Serge Castella. A classically trained sculptor and painter, Antonson taps into his broad knowledge of these disciplines to inform his work. Every piece is created by hand. He paints plaster onto his designs in layers with a brush, then meticulously sculpts, sands and rasps it repeatedly to achieve objects of surreal beauty. In addition to his original designs, Antonson welcomes collaborations and has worked with dozens of designers to create custom pieces. A self-proclaimed movie buff, Sandra Benhamou spent most of her time on movie sets until one day, in 2010, when she founded her namesake design studio. The French designer injects in her work all the action, drama, sophistication and sensuality found in movies; she creates the perfect décors imbued with tension and intrigue. Known for her seamless displays of contemporary artworks and designs, vintage furniture and custom pieces, Sandra loves to play with contrasting materials and pair unexpected colour palettes.⁠
