Pierre Paulin by Ozone

Born in 1927 in Paris, Pierre Paulin started his career off in the early 1950s, working with several furnishing companies. He enters the Elysée, the French Presidential Palace in 1972 and works with three different presidents: Georges Pompidou first, then François Mitterrand, for whom he designs all his office furnishings, and finally Jacques Chirac – the renovation of the dining room. Besides his ”presidential” commissions, Paulin developed some outstanding projects in industrial design (Calor, Allibert, Stamp) whilst reviving the corporate images of some major corporations- including Air France – and redesigning entire train stations (Gare de Lyon, Gare de Versailles Rive Gauche). His furniture is in the permanent collection of many museums around the world.
In 2018, Ozone launched M101 a collection of chandeliers designed by Pierre Paulin in 1964 for Maison de la radio in Paris.
