Since the end of the 1950’s the House of Goossens has been leaving its mark on the world of couture, working closely with the iconic Coco Chanel, creating astounding custom jewelry for her collections, and precious objects for her home. Now resident at le 19M, a venue created on Chanel’s initiative, Goossens partnered with Harumi Klossowska de Rola to create a collection of decorative objects and jewels celebrating nature, a recurring element in all of Harumi’s work, who grew up surrounded by art. The daughter of painter Balthus and artist Setsuko Ideta, Harumi creates pieces that can have a dual function, a jewel and a sculpture: something one can either wear or exhibit on a shelf.
