Hastshilp
Hastshilp is a small family business, run by Aadil and Megan. Pronounced as “hast-shilp”, it means handicraft in the Hindi language, something their company fully embraces. All their unique designs are drawn by hand in the UK, and handcrafted in Aadil’s hometown in North India by local independent artisans. Hastshilp was built on a foundation of ethical and sustainable practices, producing their items on a small scale with a steady production. All their items are made using the traditional process of cane craftsmanship, by artisans whose skills have been passed down through generations. Due to this process and the use of natural materials, no two items will be exactly the same.
