Once upon a time in a boutique hotel in Amsterdam a girl observed in awe the perfect setting before her: everything seemed perfectly styled, from the curated art down to the gold coffee mugs. And then she started wondering: how come the spoons did not come even close to that perfection? And she realized that what was missing was a set of spoons extraordinaire!

She set herself on a mission: to create the world’s most cheerful spoons. For herself to combine with her endless collection of mugs and for everyone else to start their day with a smile, thanks to their spoon. And why the name? Simple: Lepel stands for spoon in Dutch.
