Diane Thalheimer, a well-known perfumer, set herself apart in the early 2000s by inventing her new profession: Olfactive Profiler. Looking for something that made sense, she started to work on understanding and decoding the vision of a brand or of a personality and translating those traits into original scents. Whilst collaborating with many leading companies, in 2021, Diane launched Profile By, a personal project bringing together artists and perfumers on a special collaboration about olfactive sculptures. The first collection comprises a series of limited-edition pieces: perfume becomes the extension of an artwork. Or is it the artwork that becomes a visual and olfactory experience?
