      EDITOR’S NOTE

      For their second collection, Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud celebrate the unparalleled know-how of French craftsmanship through a series of exceptional designs. The Empreinte collection stems from their shared passion for furniture, noble materials and craftsmanship; each piece of furniture created for the many private projects undertaken by the interior design duo. This new collection finds unexpected connections between the modernist movements of the 1930s and more contemporary accents, weaving past and present into timeless designs. Empreinte is marked by the pairing of contrasting textures, and feel: precious objects inspired by the brutalist aesthetic, designs that stand out for their astonishing palette of colours and timeless shapes. The collection is entirely produced in France.

      The Designer
      Le Berre Vevaud

      Le Berre Vevaud is a design studio founded in 2008 by Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud. They draw inspiration from the work of Luis Barragán and Gio Ponti, creating timeless interiors that exude elegance and attention to detail, infused with subtle Art Deco reminiscences. Their tailor-made designs are characterized by simple yet uncommon shapes with a focus on a careful selection of materials and colors that lend each piece a distinct stand-alone quality. With a taste for beautiful materials, and the understanding of their infinite combinations, they favor the use of precious woods, sometimes enhanced by sophisticated finishes, or kept in their raw state.
