The Designer

Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance

AD 100 designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance is widely known for his distinctive body of work that resonates with art collectors. Born in the south of France in 1974, he followed in his father’s footsteps, by studying sculpture, and then design at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. In addition to his spectacular private and commercial projects –including an iconic chalet in the Alps – Noé creates exceptional pieces of furniture in limited editions. With a strong sense of materials, he draws his inspiration from nature: organic shapes and their irregularities are transcended and rendered into fantastic designs of striking beauty. Noé splits his time between Paris and Lisbon.
