      EDITOR’S NOTE

Pin Noir & Blanc is made by Objekti with Mexican artisan families practising Pre-Columbian pottery techniques, its surface built entirely from hand-applied clay seeds so that no two vessels are quite alike.

Hand-sculpted in clay with a glossy black and white glaze finish, each Pin Noir & Blanc varies slightly in shape and shade as a result of its handmade nature, with bespoke colours available on request. Every triangle across the vessel is built from numerous hand-applied clay seeds and crowned with a majestic lid, a construction method rooted in Pre-Columbian pottery and finished with copper sulphate glazes through multiple firings.
