      EDITOR’S NOTE

      Rectangular glazed brown chamotte earthenware tray, raw earth on the back. The Seabed collection was inspired by the bluish depths of the Mediterranean, with a scaly effect.

      The Designer
      Sophie Spinosi Céramique

      Sophie Spinosi, ceramic artist in Paris, adds a twist to everyday objects to create pieces with an original design. She combines creativity with craftsmanship to make cups, trays, trinket dishes, and candle holders that are both functional and decorative, to enhance any decor. Her creations are all hand-made using modeling techniques. Each collection has an original finish using enamels to create effects with materials and shine. Her work is strongly influenced by her Mediterranean roots, with a color palette ranging from blue to green. Her creations are all limited editions or unique pieces.
