The Simple Tray Morris belongs to a vibrant collection built from a mixture of materials, an arts and crafts sensibility, and Italian design, producing an energetic, Bohemian mix. Its dense, stylised botanical pattern nods to the printed textiles pioneered by the British Arts and Crafts movement.

The tray combines this print with a considered mix of textures typical of the collection, giving it a tactile richness beyond its surface pattern. A joyous inspiration that reawakens any interior, equally suited to a breakfast table or a shelf of curated objects.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

The Designer

Gilles Dewavrin

After founding a company with stylist Myrène de Premonville, Gilles Dewavrin turned to interior decorating. This vocation was born during his experience of working with creators Alessandro Albrizzi and David Hicks in an elegant, simple universe that gave him a taste for beautiful things. He developed scented candles and has continued to operate in a universe that encompasses a collection of furniture, objects, and household linen by creating limited series and one-off pieces. With his preference for busy, colorful decors, mixing very different materials and styles, it all comes together to create an energetic, bohemian mix.
