      The Designer
      Inès-Olympe Mercadal
      Irreverent, a little eccentric, and absolutely joyful, the Chahut tableware collection by Inès-Olympe Mercadal reflects the personality of its creator.
      After studying literature, working as a freelance journalist, and gaining significant experience in the fashion sector, Inès-Olympe Mercadal (also known as ‘IOM’) reinvented herself as the perfect hostess, and traded nights out for the art of entertaining. Her passion for tableware was born at the same time. Good-by china dishes, hello authentic ceramic with a twist. She finds inspiration in her Technicolor imagination that is brimming with 70s prints, and by gazing at her collection of old books.
