      The studio lamp Wenge is defined by its monolithic proportions. It is designed with the intent of sculpting the shape of stability, of stoic and silent firmness, accentuating its solid wood texture.

      ABOUT THE DESIGNER
      The Designer
      Isato Prugger

      Isato Prugger grew up with Ladin and Japanese cultural backgrounds. A graduate of Politecnico in Milan he caught everybody’s attention with his innovative portable lamp FLAI made in collaboration with Diomede Light, unveiled At Salone del Mobile – Euroluce 2019. Now part of Nèo Design Italiano, a creative group of young professionals operating in the new Italian design landscape, Isato combines his industrial training with his sculptural sensibility, creating limited series of lights that push the boundaries of contemporary artisanship and all its potentiality. The incessant research on innovative technologies, aimed at better light quality, makes these pieces true “functional sculptures”.
