EDITOR’S NOTE

This Set of 6 Crystal Champagne Saucers revives a classic silhouette from an earlier age of celebration, each coupe hand-blown before being hand engraved with a fine constellation of stars. The engraving is cut freehand, so the pattern catches the light differently as the glass is turned, lending every saucer a quiet sparkle even before it is filled.

Made from lead-free crystal, the glasses are as practical as they are beautiful, safe to run through the dishwasher after the last toast of the evening. Ideal for champagne, sparkling wine, or a coupe cocktail, this set turns a celebration into an occasion worth lingering over.

The Designer

The Vintage List

The Vintage List was set up in 2015 by a London based couple, Henry & Camilla, who wanted to reproduce some of the wonderful glassware that they used to find when searching around English antique markets and salerooms. The brand has created a collection of beautiful glassware, inspired by 19th century and early 20th century English designs, all handmade from lead-free crystal. The glass is mouth blown into moulds and then hand-engraved on fast turning wheels. It is time-consuming and skillful work, which makes each glass unique. The engraved glass, with its timeless designs, can sit happily alongside plain glass and perfectly complement modern homeware.
