The Designer

Casa Cabana

Raised in Milan, in an environment where art and design were highly valued, Martina Mondadori’s childhood home was designed by Renzo Mongiardino, growing up surrounded by warm colours and striking combinations of texture and pattern. Travelling widely with her family, she was exposed to the design traditions of many cultures: This love of travel and discovery have never left her. Collecting pieces that speak to her and of the artists and makers who created them, Martina has deep respect for craftsmanship and authenticity in design, something that is key to her work at Cabana, and Cabana Magazine, which she founded in 2014 as an innovative yet timeless way to look at interiors.
