We are seeking a East Coast Senior Sales who would be responsible for driving US Sales, with a specific focus on New-York and the rest of the East Coast area. You will work with our architecture, interior design, commercial development, and private clients in a creative and fast paced environment. This position is an outreach position for a highly motivated individual to develop and implement our sales strategy, advise, and sell to clients. This person will act as a representative of our brand and the designer brands we carry.

Role Description

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Completely manage the relationship between the client and The Invisible Collection throughout the order process, tracking the order through the pipeline, following up with vendors and keeping the client aware of any production issues, working with our vendors on custom requests, sample approvals and managing any issues during and after delivery,
  • Driving new client relationships and nurture existing relationships with consistent follow-up,
  • Providing accurate and timely reports to management, including call reporting and business updates,
  • Compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources,
  • Traveling throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders,
  • Talking with customers by phone,
  • Displaying or demonstrating product, using samples or sales collateral,
  • Quoting prices and preparing sales invoices for orders obtained,
  • Estimating and communicating date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules,
  • Preparing reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts,
  • Working with other sales associates to keep account activities and sales collateral and samples up to date,
  • Tracking stock levels as it pertains to sales communication,
  • Coordinating and facilitating customer training,
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers,
  • Investigating and resolving customer problems with shipping, customs and deliveries,
  • Being accountable for individual sales goals as defined by management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Substantial experience in sales in a fast paced environment in a Luxury business with a strong interest for architecture and/or interior design
  • Strong client service skills and readily available for client inquiries
  • Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Experience of managing multiple priorities and ensuring tasks are completed on time
  • Extremely organised and able to prioritise effectively, with a strong attention to detail
  • Approachable, flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude to work
  • Trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and highly confidential
  • Fluency in French is advantageous
