PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Logistics Executive will join our Operations team and work alongside the Head of Operations and Sales team to deliver all incoming orders for our US clients.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and shipping lines to provide competitive shipping quotes
  • Follow up with suppliers, freight forwarders and shipping lines to secure shipping prices, production and shipping lead times
  • Organise packing, crating, pick-ups, shipments and deliveries of orders from around the world
  • Compile all Shipping documentation and send to suppliers, freight forwarders and shipping lines
  • Communicate with internal departments to understand priorities and schedule work
  • Communicate with clients to coordinate exports/imports at customs and organise deliveries
  • Manage and log returns, shipping of samples and catalogues
  • General administrative duties

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Fluent in English and Intermediate level French is preferrable
  • Strong interest in luxury and/or design
  • Computer literate with good experience of Microsoft Office suite
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • Experience of working with ERP systems is desirable
  • Must be able to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Strong analytical, planning, co-ordination and effective time management skills
  • Able to prioritize, learn quickly and develop in a fast paced, international environment
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are executed and policies are followed
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated with a passion for exceptional customer service
  • The ability to create and maintain productive relationships with colleagues and clients
