When Chloé Nègre founded her namesake studio, she had in mind a “research laboratory” – a cross-disciplinary workplace encompassing interior decoration, furniture, and set design. She also wanted to embrace eco-responsible practices and deliver beautiful designs that are eco-friendly.

Cyprès, the French word for cypress, comprises an elegant folding screen and a lovely cabinet in natural oak and natural wicker. The eye-catching ornamentation is painstakingly made by hand with laser-cut precision. The fine strands of wicker are assembled one by one into narrow bands that are then arranged in a beautiful abstract pattern.
The two designs can be displayed together; they are decorative yet functional elements that add a light touch to an austere room. The folding screen can also be a whimsical addition to the bedroom’s décor, the perfect piece to partition the space and create a more intimate atmosphere.
