The backdrop is picture-perfect, snowy alpine peaks and clear blue sky. And the mood is perfect too: we have the most befitting location for staging an exhibition of exclusive furniture pieces that take the chalet-chic aesthetic to the next level.
Housed in Norki’s freshly opened showroom in Gstaad, the collaborative exhibition is a wonderful display of selected designs from Invisible Collection’s favorites, set in dialogue with some rare vintage finds – adorable mid-century and Scandinavian designs- and anchored by some stunning rugs.
The distinctive pieces from Dimoremilano become the ideal companions of a pair of upscaled Scandinavian armchairs. Damien Langlois-Meurinne’s Above the Clouds Sofa, dressed in a plush green velvet, warms up to a couple of darling chairs reupholstered with high-quality shearling.
An array of exquisite side tables by Aline Hazarian and Allegra Hicks dot the space, whilst the fantastic Ragno Lamp stands alone as a sculptural touch of uncommon beauty, enhancing the overall feel.
