Are you in the mood for colour? We handpicked a few designs that will definitely brighten the décor and inject a much needed touch of vibrant hues. The Pondichéry chair and the Madras armchair are among the latest pieces created by Laura Gonzalez.
The French designer, known for her eclectic, whimsical touch, must have gotten her passion for colours whilst refurbishing the Christian Louboutin store: who could resist the magic charm of those red soles? Since then, Laura has enchanted her clients with her ability to pair the most unexpected colour palettes.
These two designs tap into India’s nineteenth century furniture, specifically its typical wooden chairs. The comfortable shape and the simple lines are slightly revisited whilst keeping some decorative elements. The wood is lacquered in bright colours, including pink, red, green and yellow.
For the fabrics, Laura Gonzalez, delivered an array of gorgeous floral prints, including one of her own original motifs, the Rivière de Fleurs fabric (river of flowers, in French) manufactured by Marquesas Sprout.
All you need to do, now, is choose a finish and match it with the most colourful fabrics; create a joyfully laid-back atmosphere in your home!
