From the runway to your entryway: discover the work of the lighting designer that took the fashion world by storm.

Front row regulars flocking to the coolest fashion shows in Paris, Milan and New York are very familiar with the work of Thierry Dreyfus. For the past 30 years, the French art director and lighting designer has been creating the most riveting lighting on the catwalk for the likes of Diane Von Furstenberg, Comme des Garçons, Yves Saint-Laurent, Dior, Marni, Calvin Klein, Chloé and Victoria Beckham, to name but a few.

Alongside his work with the fashion industry, Thierry has conceived some impressive art installations for museums and historic buildings, including Versailles and Notre Dame de Paris cathedral. However, beside these grand, monumental installations, Dreyfus also focuses on smaller scale projects and has designed an array of pieces comprising furniture and lighting fixtures available in limited editions.

We are delighted to present a selection of his most emblematic pieces, defined by a strong sculptural feel. Most designs are metal, with a few exceptions, including the J lamps in wood and the Virgule wall lamp in onyx or marble.

Discover Thierry Dreyfus’ complete list of designs available exclusively on The Invisible Collection.
