Discover our exclusive capsule collection with ‘And Objects’ designed by Martin Brudnizki and Nicholas Jeanes. Eight remarkable, eclectic pieces that strike the perfect balance between functionality and decorative beauty.
Design aficionados have run out of words to express their appreciation of Martin Brudnizki’s work: Eccentric, decadent, lavish, maximalist, irreverent, colourful, vibrant… Indeed, the Stockholm-born interior architect and designer has a unique way of embracing a space and make it sensational. Take, for instance, the renovation of Annabel’s: the legendary private club’s new décor is a firework of luxurious, otherworldly eccentricity.
Considering his Scandinavian roots, one would have expected Martin’s work to be… Scandinavian, which is another word for simple, restrained, and functional. However, the designer was heavily influenced by an overlooked movement called “Swedish Grace” that had its short yet impactful moment in the 1920s. Defined by the perfect combination of neo-classicism with art deco imbued with Swedish character, this style is highly refined, rich, and exquisitely detailed.
In order to better experiment with these inspirations Martin Brudnizki partnered with Nicholas Jeanes to launch the product design studio ‘And Objects’, which is now home to an array of furniture, lighting, and collaborative collections.
We are delighted to unveil an exclusive capsule collection with ‘And Objects’ by Martin Brudnizki that strikes the perfect balance between functionality and decorative beauty, whilst echoing the rich romanticism of the Swedish Grace movement. “Swedish Grace formed the starting point, but we knew the pieces needed to be more sculptural and less sharp, the materiality more modern and less art deco and we needed more colour…”- says Brudnizki. “Working with The Invisible Collection gave us this opportunity. We knew them as a curated gallery that offers a platform to design that is both highly artisanal as well as glamorous. The pieces we have created fit into their offering and act as talking points as well as being functional and comfortable.”
With this collaboration ‘And Objects’ delivers conversation pieces available for purchase exclusively on The Invisible Collection. Striking the perfect balance between functionality and decorative beauty the capsule includes the Bighton Side Table, beautifully handcrafted and available in either a striking quartz & malachite pairing or a more classical marble & chiseled oak; the Cheriton Table Lamp which features a highly polished, luxurious 24 carat gold finish and copper interior shade; and the Ropley Occasional Table – a truly unique faience piece – showcasing Brudnizki’s luscious pink and green colour pairing to perfection as emerald green and bubblegum pink hues dance across the ornate lines and sculpted curves of the base of the table.
Stand-alone pieces that can fit in one room complete the collection: the inviting Candover Dayed and the architectural Marden Coffee Table, hand sculpted and cast in solid bronze, expertly polished to a smooth and tactile finish – topped with either silver leafed cast crystal glass, malachite or rose quartz.
We are thrilled to present this unique collaboration with ‘And Objects’ by Martin Brudnizki and Nicholas Jeanes.
