Vases & Vessels
Vases & Vessels

Vases & vessels: one can never get enough! We all love to style them with flowers and add a fresh touch to the home. But there is more to this than meets the eye, and that’s why The Invisible Collection sells a wide variety of vases & vessels handpicked for their original beauty. Our vases & vessels are conceived by contemporary star designers - including AD 100 listers – who understand the dramatic effect that one single object can conjure in a well-appointed room. All our designs are handcrafted by the best European artisans who master traditional techniques that were passed on by the great craftsmen of the Art Deco movement.

Vases & vessels can be traced back to refined civilizations who invented some complex techniques, including glass blowing and ceramic painting, delivering exquisite designs that are now preserved in the permanent collections of international museums, in the likes of the Met in New York and the British Museum in London. Without going back to ancient times, some of the twentieth century’s great designers - including the Italian masters Gio Ponti and Ettore Sottsass - created unique vases & vessels. Among our many covetable pieces, the Lemon Insect ball vase by Michaël Cailloux truly stands out. The French designer visited the famous workshop La Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy and created an exquisite design in enameled earthenware made with crystal dust, liquid gold and platinum silver. Marble is another material favored by manufacturers, including the Italian brand MMAIRO, who commissioned a variety of pieces to contemporary designers in the likes of Matteo Cibic and Karen Chekerdjan.

Last but certainly not least, ceramic is arguably the most sought after material for beautiful vases & vessels. The famed Jean Roger workshop creates one-of-a-kind designs that are sought after by art collectors all over the world. Their iconic pieces graced the houses of Coco Chanel, Christian Dior and Jacky Kennedy, to name but a few; now they embellish the homes of a new generation of tastemakers.
