Candle Holders
Candle Holders

Candleholders have a rich history dating back to ancient times, where they were used primarily for practical purposes. Early examples were simple and functional, evolving over centuries to become ornate and decorative objects in various cultures. It’s rather easy to recognize the most popular ones from different periods, from the stirrup candleholders used in the Middle Ages to the very ornate candelabra of 17th and 18th century European courts. Nowadays, they serve more aesthetic than functional purposes, adding ambiance and enhancing the overall décor.

At Invisible Collection, we present a curated selection of unique candleholders that will light up all interior decoration projects, literally and metaphorically. Created by contemporary star designers, including AD100 honorees, all our candleholders are handmade by the best artisans who can accommodate any bespoke request. Each piece is aesthetically pleasing, imbued with iconic status, and reflects the designer’s individuality. Lars Nilsson creates “couture” candlesticks assembling natural stones, hand-woven felt, and ceramic. Osanna Visconti masters the ancient lost-wax technique to create the poetic Nastri candleholders in bronze. The design duo behind Objekti revives Pre-Columbian and Aztecan crafts for their pine-inspired designs in ceramic. Stephen Antonson, known as the master of plaster, creates spiraling candlesticks in cast composite.

As the saying goes, all candlesticks are candleholders, but not all candleholders are candlesticks. Find out for yourself the wide variety of designs available exclusively at Invisible Collection.
