The Invisible Collection creates and exhibits its first collection “An Interior Designer’s Bedroom”, showcasing bespoke hand embroidered sheets and made-to-measure bed, at Vis-A-Vis in London.
Vis-A-Vis, the ultra-luxurious linens specialist is located in Motcomb Street. In the privileged Belgravia neighborhood, a few steps from Louboutin, Pierre Hermé, the starred Indian restaurant Amaya, the irresistible Rococo Chocolate shop and the Ottolenghi delicatessen.
The first designer to create a new collection for The Invisible Collection is Jérôme Faillant-Dumas, talented and internationally recognized founder and artistic director of Love Editions and first artistic director of Saint Laurent Parfums alongside Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé.
Jérôme lives between London and Paris. His collection of hand-embroidered linen, with its surrealist inspiration, is called Regards, an invitation to each one of us to pursue our dreams, between soft torpor and reality.
He also designed a extraordinarily harmonious headboard ; emerald green and duck blue velvet with classical lines.
The linens in Peruvian Pima cotton are extremely sophisticated ; the cotton is hand picked in a single cotton field, woven in Italy and hand embroidered in Vis-A-Vis’ atelier respecting ancestral embroidery traditions.
The headboard has been manufactured by Elite Beds, an exceptional Swiss manufacturer established since 1895 and sold exclusively by Vis-A-Vis in the UK.
The next collections will be designed by Pierre Gonalons, Michael Cailloux, Daniel and Michel Bismut, with many other surprises to come.
