The Beduina booskshelf designed by Lia Siqueira is nomad, compact and personal. The execution of its modules can generate endless possible compositions, allowing different uses in different settings. In 2009, the Beduina Bookshelf was recognized for its innovation by two of the world’s most prestigious design awards: iF Design and Red Dot Design.
Truly passionate about drawing from a very young age, Lia put her talent on the backburner to study biological sciences in the early 1980s. One day, during a casual chat, a professor suggested Lia that she should pursue her passion and hone her talent. No sooner said than done, she joined the Architecture and Urbanism course at Santa Úrsula University in Rio de Janeiro.
