French design duo Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud have had a strong influence on the way we envision French aesthetic and modern interiors. Their signature pieces exude sophistication whilst introducing a touch of playfulness featuring uncommon shapes and unmistakable spherical feet. Now, with Terra, their new collection of furniture pieces, Raphaël and Thomas work with subtraction, stripping their most known designs of any embellishing finishes and tapping into the raw beauty of natural materials, such as burnished wood and plaster.
“When crafting the Terra collection, our aim was to revisit our distinctive style while honoring the inspiration that the earth and raw materials represent for us.” Say the two creatives. “As interior architects, our commitment remains grounded in the expression of our ideas through robust and sculptural materials.” Exclusive to Invisible Collection, the designs from the Terra Collection reveal a softer, warmer side of Le Berre Vevaud. The signature Barth Stool is revisited in new alluring iterations, with the help of artist Solène Eloy who created a special finish in plaster. Among the novelties, we love the Archipel coffee table, a sculptural design featuring three distinct elements that fit together like a puzzle, without any sharp angles.
Alongside the many variations on the Barth Stool in terms of colour, material and finish, the Terra Collection includes the darling Bergame Chair and an array of side tables that combine a fascinating juxtaposition of contrasting materials lending each piece a quality of soft, quiet luxury.
