Collector’s home at Féau Boiseries

Stories Exhibitions Collector’s home at Féau Boiseries

A carefully curated exhibition of contemporary designs evokes the sophisticated atmosphere of a collector’s home.

The spectacular backdrop of Féau Boiseries never ceases to amaze us and inspire us. With each new exhibition we revisit the space and create a new setting for our favorite designs. Alongside the highly praised collaboration with Le Mobilier national, (read all about here), we staged an elegant mise-en-scene titled “Le Salon d’un collectionneur”.

Set in the grand salon of Feau Boiseries, an otherworldly room lined with antique decorative panels and graced with a nineteenth-century fireplace, the display of furniture pieces and objects evokes the warm yet sophisticated atmosphere of a collector’s home.

Highlights from the exhibition include the uber-chic Ebisu Sofa by Charlotte Biltgen flanked by Hubert Le Gall’s limited-edition Maxou Armchair and a pair of ultra-comfortable Vendôme Armchairs by Pierre Augustin Rose. Anchoring the space, the sculptural Elisabeth Coffee table, a one-off design in copper and steel by Thierry Lemaire. An array of candleholders and small objects by Goossens dot the space, their shining finish echoing the bright, starry pattern of the Estrella Rug by Damien Langlois-Meurinne.

Created by the talented, contemporary designers we represent, these pieces embody the French savoir-faire rooted in the great tradition of the decorative arts: By championing this new aesthetic, we build a bridge between the past and the future of interior design.
