Pierre Augustin Rose treats every piece as a conversation between eras — a habit formed by founders Pierre Bénard and Augustin Deleuze during their years as antique dealers, before they turned, with Nina Rose, to designing furniture of their own.
A playful take on the loveseat, the Vendôme armchair wraps its sitter in a large, curved back that reads as an embrace as much as a seat. Upholstered here in Pierre Frey’s Opio in natural, on legs of black-painted oak, it comes with its cushion included and a client’s own fabric also welcome.
