Background

Wood was Agnes Bitton’s starting point, offering her the opportunity to quickly see her first designs – mainly tables – appreciated by collectors. Then, she became captivated by brass while designing lamps that she wanted to be lively both during the day and at night. The generosity of the material worked in metalwork offers an exceptional vibrational field. Playing with an organic form that oscillates with a simple gesture brings her immense joy. Her work is part of Mobilier national’s permanent collections.

Signature Style

Organic, raw, and interpretative. What matters to Agnes is that her lamps strike the imagination and continuously renew themselves limitlessly within an interior, both through their light and their presence. Most of all she enjoys the idea that each collector will make a very personal interpretation of her work.

Showstoppers

A series of floor lamps that draw inspiration from 50’s design and African sources. Animal-like pieces, deriving their independence from optimal mobility, revealing or concealing their elegant undersides, projecting cinematic halos or a beam of light as sharp as a saber.
