Background

Born in a family of renowned aesthetes and tastemakers, Giorgio Bagnara has always been passionate about design as a lifestyle. In the late Nineties, he founded Giobagnara, aiming at creating entire collections of furniture made of the most sophisticated leather, the type usually found in the fashion industry. Working alongside his wife Vanessa, he moved his design studio and workshops to the old docks of the Port of Genoa; the essence and uncommon beauty of that location were a major inspiration. The company works for renowned architects and designers throughout the world, whilst producing limited series of furnishings made in collaboration with talented designers.
