Signature style

Tapping into his Scandinavian roots, Lars Nilsson is a master at balancing aesthetic and functionality. Working on a variety of styles, from textiles, to ceramics, art objects and handmade rugs, he shows an unmatched ability at mixing shapes and motifs, including his signature striped patterns that vary depending on the material. Favouring soft and luminous colour palettes that echo the distinctive Scandinavian light and Paris’ blossoming gardens, Lars works with rare, natural materials.

Showstoppers

A fantastic collection of handmade candlesticks and light sculptures inspired by the stunning topiary trees at Hildasholm in Dalarna, a lovely, storied park open to the public in Sweden. This serene surrounding, graced with a beautiful lake, has inspired Lars a series of large hand painted ceramic plates featuring the designer’s signature stripes.
