For any enquiry regarding the work of Lauriane Beaunier and Aurélien Veyrat
Aurélien Veyrat and Lauriane Beaunier regularly work together on projects that require complementary approaches. He is a designer and cabinetmaker by training, whose practice involves the interaction of different manufacturing processes, art and design; she specializes in art direction, color, and materials. Aurélien created his studio in 2008 and carries out different projects simultaneously: from object to installation, from design to art, he is recognized for his technical knowledge, his conceptual approach, and his imagination. He works equally well with manufacturers and brands, well-known artists, and architects such as Jean Nouvel. In parallel, he creates furniture systems under the Objet Optimisé label.
Lauriane worked as a material color designer for 10 years in the automotive and sports industry. In 2013, she decided to create her studio and to teach at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where she herself had been a student. She provides consulting services to companies on their strategy, positioning, and creations. This totally optimized construction based on two identical cut-out panels will display books and literature at an angle, against a single inner face, without nails or screws.
All recycled material has a random appearance, and they have chosen a dark gradient as the signature for this intriguing sculptural composition.
Invisible Collection and Mobilier national partner to promote contemporary creation and present limited-edition designs. Mobilier national is a major institution for contemporary creation and the promotion of French decorative arts, whose mission has been to ensure, since the seventeenth century, the conservation and restoration of unique collections in the world. Mobilier national has broadened its scope by launching an annual “Campagne d’Acquisition” to support creativity and to integrate these pieces into the national collections. These works are then exhibited in institutional buildings. Thanks to this unprecedented partnership, a selection of contemporary furniture revealed by the Mobilier national’s 2021 “Campagne d’Acquisition” is available for purchase: Collectors will be able to acquire furniture that has been included in the official collections, and is available in limited edition on Invisible Collection.
