Maison Parisienne

Maison Parisienne was founded in 2008 by Florence Guillier Bernard. It promotes material artists who are the keepers of exceptional French know-how. With their combination of the perfect gesture, an aesthetic eye, and a spirit of experimentation, these talents have chosen to express themselves through unique materials: wood, textile, metal, glass, ceramic paper, feather, etc.  Each one powerfully revealing its strength, its colored nuances, its asperities, and its sensual feel.

Furniture, sculptures, decorative objects, mural works: the Maison Parisienne collections consist of unique pieces or limited editions, as well as commissioned creations. This rarity guarantees total freedom of expression and the quest for a certain timelessness. Maison Parisienne’s work is recognized by many collectors, both art lovers and prestigious private and public collections such MAD-Musée des Arts décoratifs (Paris), Le Mobilier national, the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), the Chicago Art Institute, and the Dutch National Glass Museum (Leerdam), to name a few.

As a nomadic gallery, Maison Parisienne unveils the wealth and diversity of its talents in exclusive locations where the works hold a natural dialog with each other in a subtly arranged setting. Since the gallery’s creation in Paris, Florence Guillier Bernard has organized around sixty exhibitions in Paris, London, Brussels, Monaco, and Geneva.

Invisible Collection and Mobilier national partner to promote contemporary creation and present limited-edition designs. Mobilier national is a major institution for contemporary creation and the promotion of French decorative arts, whose mission has been to ensure, since the seventeenth century, the conservation and restoration of unique collections in the world. Mobilier national has broadened its scope by launching an annual “Campagne d’Acquisition” to support creativity and to integrate these pieces into the national collections. These works are then exhibited in institutional buildings. Thanks to this unprecedented partnership, a selection of contemporary furniture revealed by the Mobilier national’s 2021 “Campagne d’Acquisition” is available for purchase: Collectors will be able to acquire furniture that has been included in the official collections, and is available in limited edition on Invisible Collection.
