Anouche Hachmanian and Linda Bayon are two artist-designers. Both come from a scientific background and were later trained respectively at the Beaux-Arts and the Arts Décoratifs. They met within a design studio working for luxury brands. While one seeks to infuse soul into objects, the other advocates for “emotional design.” Their encounter allowed them to appreciate each other’s work and shared taste for refined geometry, making their creations resonate with one another.

Invisible Collection and Mobilier National partner to promote contemporary creation and present limited-edition designs. Mobilier National, a major institution for contemporary creation and the promotion of French decorative arts, has been dedicated since the seventeenth century to preserving, restoring, and managing unique state-owned collections of furniture, tapestries, and decorative objects. In recent years, Mobilier National has broadened its scope by launching an annual “Campagne d’Acquisition” to support creativity and integrate contemporary designs into the national collections. These works are then exhibited in prestigious institutional buildings.
Thanks to this unprecedented partnership, a curated selection of contemporary furniture from Mobilier National’s latest Campagne d’Acquisition is now available in a limited edition.

In 2016, they self-published their first pieces under the name Traits d’Union Design, promoting craftsmanship and French savoir-faire. Their collaboration is a true artistic dialogue, and it was only natural for them to create the Ekko screen together. Ekko was born from a reflection on our constantly evolving lifestyles, domestic intimacy, and shared workspaces. Its objective? To create separations without isolating. It maintains a connection between people thanks to small surfaces for placing objects and hanging items. Ekko is also a masterful piece that enhances interiors. It plays with light and projects lines and shapes in joyfully shifting colours throughout the day. It creates a soft and poetic atmosphere that harmoniously reflects its surroundings. Ekko embodies a fusion of functionality and aesthetics, offering a versatile solution for our ever-changing living spaces.
