Tre Paris

TRE PARIS is a creative studio dedicated to furniture and objects, working at the intersection of architecture, art, and craftsmanship. Founded by architects Jules Colin and Valentine Piacentino, the studio grew out of a shared interest in space, objects, and materiality. TRE PARIS is built on a close relationship between conception, drawing, and making. Each piece emerges from this dialogue, with the same attention given to form, proportion, materiality, and time. The studio explores simple volumes, subtle balances, and tensions through a restrained architectural language. Forms are often sculpted from solid material, with precise proportions and a sense of permanence.

Background

TRE PARIS is a creative studio dedicated to furniture and objects, working at the intersection of architecture, art, and craftsmanship. Founded by architects Jules Colin and Valentine Piacentino, the studio grew out of a shared interest in space, objects, and materiality.

Before founding TRE PARIS, Jules Colin spent several years at Thierry Lemaire’s studio, working on high-end residential projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. There, he developed a particular sensitivity to proportion, spatial coherence, and the way an interior responds to those who inhabit it. In parallel, Valentine Piacentino developed her practice within the artistic direction department of a leading luxury house, notably working on projects for the American market. Her approach is informed by architecture, materials, composition, and atmosphere, with a particular interest in the way spaces, objects, and images come together to create a distinct presence.

Together, they have shaped TRE PARIS as a multidisciplinary practice in which interior architecture, furniture, and objects naturally respond to one another.

Signature Style

TRE PARIS is built on a close relationship between conception, drawing, and making. Each piece emerges from this dialogue, with the same attention given to form, proportion, materiality, and time. The studio explores simple volumes, subtle balances, and tensions through a restrained architectural language. Forms are often sculpted from solid material, with precise proportions and a sense of permanence. Materials are selected not only for their intrinsic qualities, but for the way they evolve over time and retain traces of the hand that shaped them. The resulting objects have a quiet yet distinctive presence: they inhabit a space without overpowering it.

Nothing is superfluous. Everything is considered.

Showstoppers

The ASTRO collection is one of TRE PARIS’s most distinctive expressions. Conceived as a series of highly personal objects, the lamps are each built around an archetype embodied by a zodiac sign, creating an immediate sense of identification between the piece and its owner.

Across cultures and throughout history, people have turned to symbols as a way of understanding and expressing aspects of themselves. ASTRO translates this universal fascination into a contemporary collection of sculptural lighting. Rather than treating astrology literally, the collection gives each sign a physical presence through form, material, and character. The result is a series that feels both symbolic and architectural; objects that are functional, collectible, and deeply personal.
