Background
As a child, Jean-Baptiste Anotin was fascinated by industrial design, particularly automobiles. He discovered this passion while attending car shows with his father. Jean-Baptiste enjoyed experimenting with car paint and customizing old bicycles by repainting them with new colors or sketching imaginative car prototypes. However, he shifted gears and pursued studies in marketing, subsequently working for startups and within the fashion industry. In 2020, after visiting a Charlotte Perriand retrospective, he rekindled his childhood passions and embarked on a new career in design, founding his studio, “Waiting For Ideas.”Â
